Looking for a fun and competitive game? Tired of making tee times? The South Grove Men’s Club is accepting new members. The Men’s Club runs a well-organized ABCD choose-up every Saturday and Sunday. Play as little or as often as you like. All you have to do is show up by 9:30 a.m. The golf begins at 10:00 a.m. The entry fee is $16 or $21 if you want in the skin pot and prizes are awarded at the end of each day’s play. Whether your handicap is a +2 or a 22, young or old, a grizzled veteran or a relative newcomer, this game is for you.
The annual fee to join is $38. This allows you guaranteed tee times for all choose-ups and the club championships. You receive a USGA GHIN handicap and entry into the hole-in-one pot. You are also eligible for awards, prizes and all the golfing fun you can handle, including special event luncheons after golf. Club and choose-up rules are posted in the men’s locker room.
